Founder's Note

Hi, I'm Esha.

A note about why this exists, who I'm building it for, and what I'm still learning.

Esha, Founder of QLAB

And if you're here, you probably already know this is for you. QLAB is as much for me as it is for you because I'm building too. Less than two years ago, I was graduating with my MS in Information Experience Design at Pratt Institute, balancing two internships, and trying to understand how people actually build things that scale. Today, I'm preparing to launch two startups, QOG and QLAB, while building in public, traveling across cities for networking and fundraising, and designing every layer myself, from the vision and systems to the Buildbook and The Grid. Somewhere between AI rabbit holes, late night writing sessions, unfinished pitches, risk taking, and betting on myself before I felt fully ready, I realized something important: winners are built through movement.

Opportunity rarely arrives loudly. It quietly waits for the people willing to move first.

I've always believed that words create worlds. I think through writing. I process through language. Some of the biggest shifts in my life happened because I sat down and wrote honestly enough to hear myself clearly. That's how QOG began. But I also learned quickly that words without action become another form of avoidance. So I became deeply intentional about execution. About mindset, habits, time blocking, precision, and building a life that compounds.

I run, weightlift, boulder, meditate, cold plunge, and play tennis because I genuinely believe winner coded people train their minds and bodies to handle pressure well. Running especially changed me. A 22:36 5K PR and a sub 60 10K taught me more about discipline, resilience, pacing, and self trust than any management framework ever could.

The best builders are objective, self aware, and willing to do uncomfortable things consistently. But beyond ambition, I genuinely love the joy of building. The joy of turning ideas into reality. The joy of creating something from nothing and watching it evolve in real time. For me, the best work sits at the intersection of impact, money, and joy because ultimately, life is alignment.

Professionally, I've had the chance to work with organizations and brands including The New York Public Library, Rubin Museum of Art, Poster House, New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, Asian Paints, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, and Fractal Analytics × Visa, while stepping into a Lead Strategist role at a healthtech startup. But honestly, the biggest thing I've built is trust in myself. The ability to take an idea seriously enough to act on it before I feel ready. That philosophy became QLAB. A builder lab for people in tech who know they're capable of more and are ready to move like it.

My philosophy is simple: building in motion, aligning by design, feeling everything. If that resonates with you, welcome. Let's build something real.
